Terms of Service

Last updated: 3 October 2026

1. About INKY

INKY is a business management platform for tattoo artists, operated by Scott Automations. It helps tattoo artists manage enquiries, clients, conversations, appointments, deposits and their public artist profile.

These Terms of Service apply when you create an INKY account or otherwise use the INKY service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for providing accurate information when creating and using your INKY account and for keeping your account secure.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and should contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Free trial and subscription

INKY may provide new users with a 14-day free trial. No subscription payment is required to use INKY during the free trial unless otherwise stated when you sign up.

Following the free trial, continued access to paid features requires an active INKY subscription. The standard subscription price is £25 per month unless a different price or promotional offer is shown to you when subscribing.

Subscription payments are processed by the payment provider made available to you when subscribing. Your subscription will continue until cancelled.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your INKY subscription at any time using the subscription management options available to you.

When a paid subscription is cancelled, access will normally continue until the end of the period that has already been paid for. The subscription will not renew after that period.

Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your INKY account or the information associated with it.

5. Tattoo services

INKY provides software to tattoo artists. Scott Automations does not provide tattoo services and is not a party to any agreement between a tattoo artist and their client for tattoo services.

Tattoo artists remain responsible for deciding which enquiries they accept, the services they provide, their pricing, appointment arrangements and their professional relationship with their clients.

Information recorded in INKY does not constitute confirmation by Scott Automations that a tattoo appointment or service has been agreed.

6. Deposits

INKY includes tools that allow tattoo artists to manage deposits associated with their clients and appointments.

Any deposit relating to tattoo services is an arrangement between the tattoo artist and their client. The tattoo artist is responsible for determining the amount of a deposit and any terms that apply to it, including cancellation or refund arrangements.

Scott Automations is not the provider of the underlying tattoo service and does not determine whether a client is entitled to a refund of a tattoo deposit.

7. Public artist pages and enquiries

INKY may allow you to create a public artist page through which potential clients can view information about you and submit tattoo enquiries.

You are responsible for the information, images and other content you choose to publish through your public page and for ensuring that you have the right to use that content.

Receiving an enquiry through INKY does not require you to accept it or provide tattoo services to that person.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use INKY unlawfully, attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the service, attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts or systems, or use INKY in a way that infringes the rights of another person.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of information about your clients complies with the laws and obligations applicable to your business.

9. Availability and changes to INKY

We aim to keep INKY available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee that the service will always be available without interruption or error.

We may update, improve, replace or discontinue features as INKY develops. Where a change materially affects the service, we will take reasonable steps to communicate it where appropriate.

10. Your content and data

You retain responsibility for the information and content you add to INKY. You give us permission to process that information where necessary to operate and provide the service.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access to INKY where reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users or third parties, or where these Terms are materially breached.

You may stop using INKY at any time. If you want your account and associated personal information deleted, you can contact us using the details below, subject to information we may need to retain for legal or legitimate business purposes.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

INKY is provided as a business management tool. Scott Automations is not responsible for the tattoo services provided by artists using INKY or for disputes between tattoo artists and their clients.

To the extent permitted by law, Scott Automations will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, INKY.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as INKY develops or where legal or operational requirements change. When we make changes, we will update the date shown at the top of this page.
